‍n Prince Edward County, just two hours from Toronto, you will find a bustling town named Bloomfield. Here you will find everything from quaint shops to great food and open farmland. In this community, everyone knows your name and neighbours mean more than just the houses next door.

Coulson Armstrong, the Culinary Director of Sons & Daughters (part of the Matty Matheson empire), took a trip to the country to visit the brewery Matron Fine Beer. Founded and operated by Mallory Jones, Jessica Nettleton, and Justin da Silva, Matron is a reflection of their shared experiences as friends, partners, and industry professionals.

The company's mission goes beyond making delicious beer. Throughout everything they do, their community is at the core. Much of Matron's business model focuses on sustaining a quality of life through the people, practices, and resources nearby.
